Sunshine Coast Wedding Venues and Ceremony Locations

Still deciding where to say "I do"? The Sunshine Coast has it all: golden beaches, river sunsets, rainforest and rolling hinterland views. Here's my guide to some of the most-loved wedding venues and ceremony spots across Noosa, the coast and the Sunshine Coast hinterland, to help you start your shortlist.

This guide is for inspiration only. I'm not affiliated with any of these venues, and details change, so always check availability, capacity and pricing directly with each venue.

Tips for choosing your Sunshine Coast venue

  • Book early. Popular venues and council ceremony spots for peak dates book out fast.
  • Have a wet weather plan. Ask every outdoor venue what happens if it rains.
  • Think about your guests. Consider parking, accessibility and nearby accommodation, especially in the hinterland.
  • Check the permits. Public beaches, parks and national parks usually need a booking with council or Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.
  • Watch the sun. Sunset ceremonies on the coast face very different light to hinterland ceremonies with westerly views.

Which ceremony suits your venue?

  • Legals Only: sign and be married, no ceremony required
  • Elopement: a short, meaningful ceremony for up to 15 guests
  • Full Ceremony: a completely personalised ceremony written around your story
  • Celebrant + MC: one familiar face from your ceremony through to your reception
