Legals Only Weddings on the Sunshine Coast

Just want to make it official? My Legals Only package is a simple, stress-free way to get legally married on the Sunshine Coast, without the planning that comes with a full ceremony.

It's perfect if you're heading overseas for a destination wedding and need the legal side sorted at home, if you'd rather skip the ceremony altogether, or if you simply want to say "we did it" with zero fuss.

$450 + GST ยท Available Sunday to Thursday only

What's included

  • Initial video consultation
  • Preparation of all required legal documents
  • The required legal wording and vows
  • Signing of the marriage certificates with your two witnesses
  • Lodgement of all legal paperwork

Where can we do it?

Wherever suits you. A quiet park in Noosa, your backyard in Buderim, a garden in Maleny or a grassy spot overlooking the water in Mooloolaba or Caloundra.

Travel within 50 km driving distance of postcode 4560 is included, which covers much of the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. If you'd like to use a public beach or park, you may need a permit from the local council, and I'm happy to point you in the right direction.

How it works

  1. Book a free chat. Tell me your date and where you'd like to sign.
  2. Lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage. It needs to be with me at least one month before your wedding date (and can be lodged up to 18 months ahead). I'll guide you through it.
  3. Bring two witnesses. They need to be 18 or over.
  4. Sign and celebrate. We say the legal words, you sign, and you're officially married.

Good to know

  • Prices apply to weddings held during 2026 and 2027.
  • Public holiday, accommodation, parking and ferry fees may apply where required.
  • Additional travel fees may apply outside the included travel area.
